When Dad's Away...

When Daddy is home the kids do wholesome things like learn how to light things on fire...

But when he is out of town all discipline is lost and the girls go down into cousin Ida's basement to don strange outfits such as these...

And a wild rumpus ensues!

 Elsie says, "Wait, Uncle Pete has a shirt like this."

"Why don't we wear these outfits every day Theo?" says Ida.
"Good idea!" says Theo.

Later, when Daddy returns, he restores sartorial order, and they go to hippie festivals and meet guys like this:

One evening we dressed up for a surprise birthday party.  I had some trouble figuring out how to get the yukatas to stay on the girls, which meant they looked a little more like ladies of the night than is proper.
