Below is a note we found waiting for us one evening when we returned from dinner.  A young babysitter had been watching the four cousins and Elsie and Ida decided to lock themselves in the bathroom and smear toothpaste all over the mirror.  The sitter eventually restored order and convinced them to write this note:
