A shift

Here's some exciting news. Or sort of exciting news, anyway. Our blog is getting published on this "hip urban parent" website called Babble.com. It's going to have a slightly different focus, but it'll be the same old characters. Our blog there is called "Diaper Bandit" and today is it's first day up so please check it out right here. As you'll see, we're stepping back in time first, but soon things will be up to speed and current.

We'll still be posting some stuff on this blog here, but with a little less frequency. Here's a recent pix of Elsie and her friend Saoirse hanging out at home. And we thought Elsie had fat cheeks! It must be all that organic stuff they use in the Dolan/Burlingame house

Remember when they looked like this? Elsie's catching up!

Trip back to PDX, the new house!

Okay, we've got some catching up to. Maggie's currently searching the internet for information about baby bowel movements because she's worried that Elsie doesn't poop enough. Why complain about that, I say? Anyway, here are some pictures from our plane ride out to PDX. Here's Elsie and Maggie waiting to get on the plane.

We were lucky to have an empty seat between us. Elsie fell asleep before take off and slept until we landed. Here's Maggie trying in vain to "pop her ears". This process mystified her for some reason. Elsie's infant ears were fine.

The main event of course was our visit with newborn Ida. But after that we checked out our New House! Elsie seemed to like it. This is where we will be living come fall. It's less than a mile from cousin Ida. Check out those big northwest pine trees!

We took a red-eye flight home and the flight was delayed so Elsie crashed on Maggie's chest. She'll sleep anywhere!
