You asked for it...
It has been requested that we post a picture of Vidamae licking the baby. So here it is:
It should be noted that Vidamae had to be coerced for this photo. We put a dollop of butter on Elsie's head. But this licking has also happened without any promting as well.
We had a nice visit from cousins Ben and Emily and Godmother Mimmie. We read over their old baby books and decided that all babies basically look the same at this young age. Don't try to fool us by saying how cute Elsie is! Here's Emily looking nervous she might drop the baby. She's practicing up for her own baby, due any day now. Bump alert! 
And here's Ben shielding Elsie from danger. He's praying she doesn't barf on him.
Tomorrow we go back to the doctor for a "rebound" billirubin test. We think some of that yellow is making a comeback in her complexion. No more lights! Please! At least we got to take showers.
