some recent events

Well, we just can't get enough of that good country air up in Vermont so we packed up the family once again and travelled north. Vidamae was excited to be up there, although there's not as many edible tibits lying on the ground outside.



We went on a nice cross country ski trip with our friend's Dan and Malia. We had Elsie face outwards so she could take in the scenery, but as usual she fell asleep about two minutes after we started moving. Here's Maggie and Malia.




Dan and Malia were so impressed at how quiet Elsie was that they are now thinking about having a kid themselves, so long as it doesn't make any noise. Dan asked me in private just how one goes about making babies anyway, so I had to explain a few things to him.



Back at home Grandpa Peter and Grandma Susan showed Elsie their new indoor pool. Look at that! It's the thing behind them.



Grandma Susan sent us this picture of Grandpa Peter suited up for action. Apparently he wears this outfit pretty much all the time now, even when he goes out to the store or post office. As you can see he's slimmed down a bit since the heart operation and I guess he's just proud of his physique.
