Update from Stumptown
I'm not yet sure why they call Portland "Stumptown" but that is one of it's nicknames. There are a lot of trees here so maybe at one point there were also a lot of stumps.
Anyway, things are good here. It's started to rain fairly regularly. Pete and Ella didn't tell us that it rained every day here and somehow managed to arrange for good weather on all of our scouting visits. But Elsie doesn't mind the rain so much. Neither does Vidamae, who has been getting some high quality walks.
Here's Maggie and Ella in front of our house getting ready to go to the farmer's market. Maggie bought some mushrooms there.
Elsie and Ida see each other quite a bit and usually smile when the other one arrives.
Elsie's got two teeth coming in up top. You can feel them if she bites your finger.
Here's Elsie on the back yard deck. She's crawling about now, exploring like Magellan.
We are busy setting up the guestroom for our first official guests this weekend - Todd and Sonder from Amsterdam. C'mon out to Stumptown! We'd love to see you. Well, most of you anyway. I'm kidding! All of you! All at once!

Aw. She's such a nice girl to know.
for those of us who have never seen Elsie crawl, could you supply some sort of footage.
