The Cape May Ferry
We took the ferry from Cape May, NJ to Lewes, Delaware. Both of the girls fell asleep in the car shortly before we drove it on board so when they woke up it was very exciting. Theo hit the deck first and ran around like a scallywag.
Then Elsie came up on deck and she wasn't so sure about things at first:
But then she got into the swing of things:
and the two girls chased eachother around the deck while we tried to keep them from leaping overboard.
Finally we sighted land:
and everyone scampered back to the car!

And Theo's scallywag picture is too much (that's my favorite sweater of the Bradford/Rock/Vining collection, too).
Glad you're back.
The final picture is interesting because Theo and Maggie have the exact same stride - notice the arm and foot positions are identical. If Theo were a bit taller it would be impossible to tell them apart.
The only way I can tell Maggie and Theo apart is the way they talk. It's lacerating, either way, just sounds different.
But didn't one of them have distinctive scurvy after a long voyage a few weeks ago?
