East Coast Vinings

We saw Grandpa Vining and Grandma Toko twice while back east last month. The first time was in Haddonfield where we opened some presents (above) and Grandma Toko gave Elsie her new favorite pair of pants, a handmade pair of PURPLE cordouroys!

The second time we saw the Vining Granparents was in New Haven where we had a great visit with cousins D Hawk and Leigh. Uncle Dan built a nice fire for us in the guestroom and we even got to see the dinosaurs at the Peabody Museam, a favorite haunt of young Arthur Bradford. That visit is well documented here.

Elsie and Theo loved playing with Danny and Leigh's toys while Grandpa supervised.

We had to poach this picture from D Hawk's blog because he was so fast we never got a proper picture ourselves. Here they are showing off their flashlights, another favorite present recieved by Elsie. She insists on sleeping with it every night. Luckily she's willing to leave the goggles in the bathtub.
