Last skiing post we promise
Well we know this blog doesn't lack for documentation of the girls skiing, but it's an exciting development, especially to her proud papa who learned to ski with his devoted dad at roughly the same age (though grandpa peter often taught sister/aunt Laura at the same time, a much reminisced upon challenge). The two items of note here are: 1) Cousin "D Hawk" was with us. He went for a x-country jaunt in the Mt. Hood foothils with his dad, Ella, and Miki, pictured here:
And 2) Elsie rode on a chairlift for the first time, pictured here:

Just for the record it was your mother who taught you to ski
That's a beautiful picture of Elsie on skis.
Let's see some more skiing updates.
Thanks for cheering me up on a day of dismal hay price news. Please tell Elsie we have almond butter sandwiches regularly here in Darlington, and baby calves regularly also. She(and her family) are welcome to all of the above. Cool houses on wheels! Aren't they cold with no insulation from the earth? Auntie M
Please put up some spring in Portland pictures
