Rolling Huts
We took a family trip a few weeks ago to the lovely Methow valley in eastern Washington. It's a cross country ski mecca apparently. Besides that, the draw for us was the chance to stay in the architectual wonders known as The Rolling Huts. They are called this because they can roll, though they don't usually do that. Behold:
We stayed in this "herd" of huts with a group of families and it was a lot of fun. Even old Vidamae appreciated the cutting edge design.
The huts were located right on a vast network of ski trails so we decided to hit them.
So, in conclusion, it was a great way to spend a long weekend even though the drive was a long one. That's the way they roll out west dudes. Here's a video of Elsie on the trail:

What a wonderful bunch of wilderness excursions you are giving to your kids. I love the rolling house. This is something Jynx should buy. Seeing Elsie pulling you on skis also great fun.
Who decided that Elsie and Maggie should do all the pulling, while Theo and Dad were passengers?
