Christmas Christmas Time Was Here!
We had our first Portland Christmas and while we sure missed our family back east, it was also nice to hang stockings on our own mantle on xmas eve. The above picture is Elsie holding a tray of snacks for Santa and his reindeer. The big cookies are limbs from some giant gingerbread men they had made earlier. The bread crumbs and parsley were for the reindeer, of course.
Theo made sure everything was in order before skipping off to bed. We read "the Night Before Christmas".
Daddy woke up early thinking there'd be a rush for the stockings around dawn, but the girls and Mommy slept in till 9 am! But then there was excitement! Santa came! Elsie holds up a new toothbrush case!
Purple sunglasses!
And then even more excitement as Ida and Miki arrived with our friend Joy. Presents!
Grandkathy's street art made into a print by Maggie for Ella!
Ski goggles!
And after it was all done, a nice four cousin bath. Uncle Pete tried to jump in there too, but the girls said, "there no room for you."

That's a better story (for me) than the ol Night Before Christmas. LOVED IT ! Thank you to the photographers and editors.
That's fake. I did get in the bath.
Happy birthday Elsie!
Arthur, we like all the documentation of your amazing dance and monster moves on the Secret V Cousin's blog. I think Shane needs a step by step instructional video.
