Much to report on as we have traveled the east coast, but here is Elsie with two front teeth missing and her note for the fairy.

Here we were in MAINE. Elsie loses her tooth. I run to get my copy of ONE MORNING IN MAINE eager to read it to her aloud. No interest.

about 5 minutes after Elsie lost her tooth it slipped out of her clutch and fell between the slats of the porch. Oh well we thought, it's 9 at night, the tooth fairy is used to kids not having the actual tooth to put under the pillow. But Elsie's father would have none of it. He got a flashlight and crawled under the porch and searched every inch of ground until he found that tiny tooth. Elsie was overjoyed and made sure her note to the tooth fairy (pictured) included a request to leave this tooth behind so Elsie could show it to her mother back home in Oregon. It was carried in a special box on the plane.
