Easter Sunday...

Elsie's Godmother Mariana had a nice idea that we all go out to Great Granny Anita's house for an Easter feast. Granny Anita died about a month ago so we decided what better way to honor her memory than get drunk and vommit easter ham all over her carpets? I'm kidding! It was a a wonderful day out in the country and we actually left the house cleaner than it had been in many years. All of Granny piles of NY times clippings were finally gone. She kept saving them until the day she died!

But then look at Elsie in this picture. She ate so much Easter ham we thought she was going to burst. What a little fatty! She has no neck! Who's kid is that anyway?



It was also Maggie's birthday so we all sang a rousing "Happy Birthday" to her and listened as she hemed and hawed refusing to make the obligatory speech. As you can see, Elsie didn't think much of our singing.

Here I am showing cousin Ben the finer points of how to be a Dad. He's thinks he might have a kid on the way but he won't be sure until the paternity test comes back. Trivia: Ben once dated Tessa, currently a contestant on ABC's excellent show "The Bachelor"! She's still trying to get over him.
