Hike in Columbia River Gorge

Since it was a beautiful sunny day Ella, Ida, Elsie and I (Arthur) decided to go for a hike up to "Angels Rest" in the Columbia River Gorge. This place is only a half hour from our houses! Ida opted for the front mounted ride on the way up and here she is with Ella in front of a waterfall:
But then she switched around to the backside and enjoyed that too.
Especially because it was wicked windy at the top! Apparently this is why there are so many windsurfers in the area, though we didn't see too many up on the mountain.
We ate a picnic lunch of Cliff Bars, apples, milk and cheerios, and then went back down.
Ella chose a treacherous route to the peak, but we survived. Vidamae had to be lifted up some parts though. We took a more gradual path down.
We saw two snakes and one dragonfly. And then someone peed in the parking lot, and it wasn't me.
