New Haven Cousins!

Still catching up on old times here at the Elsie/Theo blog...

Here's some pics from our nice visit with the New Haven Vinings. Elsie and cousin D.Hawk got down to business right away:


And Elsie flopped around with uncle Dan:


But the highlight was the chance to meet cousin Liegh who was growing steadily and gaining strength in her room at the hospital. D. Hawk was an old pro at the procedures and made sure everyone had their hands on the rails in the elevator.


Aunt SHV (happy b-day!) was giving Leigh some love and milk when we arrived.


SHV held Theo while Aunt Maggie got a turn with Leigh.


We look forward to seeing Leigh next time in her own home!


Uncle DKV took over with Theo:


Theo took and interest in cousin D. Hawk


And he was very good at being gentle with her. We wish D. Hawk could give Elsie some more lessons in this type of behavior. She loves her lil' sister but does occasionally grab her face.


But here we see the sisters laying together very peacefully, many years of grabbing and scratching lie ahead of them...
