Fall in Vermont!
And now we come to final chapter of our adventures in the east, good old Vermont. We were all very excited at the prospect of spending four days at Grandpa Peter and Grandma Susan's house in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Cousin Thomas and Aunt Laura, Uncle Dave and Aunt Anna joined us there as well.
Elsie and Cousin Thomas got a lot of bonding time, though sadly Aunt Laura spent much of the weekend stuck in various hospital waiting rooms. All is fine! But we didn't get any pictures of her...
The kids loved climbing on Grandpa:

I wish we'd gotten a good group photo when Uncle Dave K. and Aunt Laura made a brief return, but alas, we were having too much fun. Also, what are the chances we could have gotten everyone to sit still?

Grandpa Peter's computer is jammed with e-mails from women (and one weasel) since that book picture was posted. I think everyone should know that I first saw that book being read by Charlie Noyes in 1975. It had a label inside the cover reading "Ex libris Anita Houston".

Yes, I lent that book to Charlie Noyes in 1973 on the pretext that it was about the role of the UN in creating world peace (and love).
