When Vidamae isn't hanging out in the Rock-Vining movin van, she's being fed by Theo-Beo: 
When Theo-Beo isn't feeding Vidamae (or dumping Vidamae's water all over the floor), she's feeding herself. Here she eats an entire Jiffy Pop all by herself. Her dad Long A made the Jiffy Pop on the grill!
When Long A isn't grilling Jiffy Pop, he's reading books to Elsie:
When Elsie isn't reading books with her dad, she's harvesting basil for dinner sans underwear. Pants have been unpopular ever since she started imitating Long A's mooning (What's Daddy doin? What are you doin with your bottom, Daddy?)
and Baby Miki? she's just biding her time --

Harvesting herbs is familiar, unlike the absence of underwear, mooning and Jiffy Pop. These seem to call for PUNISHMENT, an art we understood very well at Plymouth but one strangely absent from these chronicles. The memory warms my breast.
