Teeth

It's a been a big time for teeth here in Portland. Elsie and Theo had their first dental appointments. Elsie bravely went first while Theo looked on with suspicion.

Then it was Theo's turn and she wasn't very happy about that. Mommy held her down.

But the lessons of proper dental care were really brought home when Daddy had to go and get his wisdom teeth removed. Here we see a short video of the girls examining the teeth when he got home. For some reason we declined to wipe the food off Theo's mouth before taping this. Ida, who is out of the frame, wanted to insert the teeth her her mouth, but Pete wouldn't let her do that:

Afterwards it was time for a nice warm bath!

IN frames 3-4 one can see the evidence that makes many feel that Maggie's secret career as a tooth model is her true calling. Also, if Maggie would come console me (as I did Arthur) at the dentists, I would appreciate it.

Theo--good work on the beanie wearing toilet action.

From whence came Arthur's penchant for publicizing pictures of scantily garbed female relatives, which has reached its zenith (or nadir)on page 62 of the February Powder magazine?

Had he done this in my day, he'd have been PUNISHED in the Plymouth stocks.

Affectionately,

WB

"Examining Daddy's Teeth" - isn't that straight out of some primordial Grimm's fairy tale ?

And thanks for the pictures of the first visit to the dentist too.

We used to trade beaver pelts for teeth like that, one for one. I bet they came from an old wolf.

Put those on a necklace, like Eskimos do with polar bear teeth.

Arthur is threatening to do just that, Dan, so please don't encourage him.
