Daddy's Trip
Here's a bonus posting about Daddy's trip to the Wallowa Mountains a few weeks ago, a rugged backcountry assignment for Powder Magazine. Winter camping!
Sleeping in those floor-less tents sure made me miss the cozy confines of home. Here's some never before seen video shot as we were making dinner at 9,000 feet.
The views were great once the snow stopped falling...
But it sure was nice to get back to these little scamps:

Wow. That is beautiful, and the most hardcore, smoked out, weird blowing kind of mancamp I've seen.
You're tough. I can't believe that dude threw his glove in your face and socked you in the gut in the baseball game.
It is remarkable the lengths to which my descendents will go to celebrate conditions one-fourth as arduous as our everyday winter existence at Plymouth.
