Camping at Trillium Lake
Over the weekend we went camping at Trillium Lake, near Mt. Hood, with our neighbors, Walker, Caysun, and GT. It was the boys' first camping trip and the second for our girls. What excitement!
Hot dogs roasting on the open fire, folding chairs, milk in a bottle. Ah, the life...
Maggie, the outward bound instructor, took over the kitchen while us men went fishing and came home empty handed...
Walker, with the fishing rod, had fishing on the brain. It was all he wanted to do. The look in his eyes says it all: "fish"
That lake was beauteous! And so is Maggie!
Here's a video of the scene:

That looks like a mighty fine camping trip. Esp. loved the video which comes right on the heels of Ken Burns PBS film on National Parks shown here Sunday night.
Such a lovely sight to see you all in the wilderness !
Is Arthur lifting weights again?
Men coming home empty-handed goes way back in this family. The consequences have varied.
Did you try prayer?
Yrs trly,
WB
seems like your camera can only focus if Maggie or hot dogs are in the picture.
That's a lot of weiners. Roasting weiners on sticks is a lot more fun. Did you make smores?
Also is that one of those spinorks I gave you guys? Good to see it in use!
