Vining Family Gathering!
All of the descendants of Dan and Motoko Vining gathered together on the "Vining Tract" in Virginia's picturesque Blue Ridge last week. This posting here is Part One as we've got many other pictures from our adventures on the trails and at the other cabins where we stayed. But right now let's focus on the big family gathering times at the Vining Cabin in Mutton Hollow. This was where we ate most of our meals and caught fish too:

Cousin D Hawk caught many fish in the pond. This catfish was the biggest. Elsie and Ida were impressed.

i would like to clarify that the Bradford/Vining girls look proper and beautifully dressed in these pictures. In fact I think my last comment was actually the result of a cat accidentally walking across the keyboard.
I love that picture of Leigh.
Also, nothing says class like a porch fan.
